SOAR Saskatchewan is a 10 day discipleship and mission training program run by MB Mission that happens here in Saskatoon during the February school break. Its a time of asking God to show us His heart and His movement in Saskatoon and joining into His mission right here and now. Teams from around Saskatchewan eat, sleep, learn, and worship together and then go out into the city to learn and serve.

Throughout the 10 days participants will spend a weekend of orientation in prayer workshops, intercession, cultural orientation, and team time. You’ll then spend Monday to Friday working with a ministry assignment in Saskatoon. Last year SOAR partnered with organizations and churches like The Bridge on 20th, The Lighthouse, MCC’s Appleby Drive Kids Club, Friendship Inn, The Foodbank, Youth for Christ Hockey League, and some senior’s care homes. We also throw a kids carnival for Family Day.

This year Forest Grove hopes to send a combined youth & young adult team, creating an atmosphere of learning together and discipling one another.
