SOAR Saskatchewan is a 10 day discipleship and mission training program run by MB Mission. It happens here in Saskatoon during the February school break. Teams from around Saskatchewan eat, sleep, learn, and worship together and then go out into the city to learn and serve.

Throughout the 10 days participants will spend a weekend of orientation including a learning tour through the vulnerable sector of Saskatoon, a day focused on prayer, and some team time. They’ll then spend Monday to Friday working with a ministry assignment in Saskatoon. In the past SOAR has partnered with organizations like The Bridge on 20th, The Lighthouse, The Friendship Inn, and Central Haven Senior’s Care Home.

This year Forest Grove Community Church hopes to send a youth & young adult team. Applications will open in October 2019 for the 2020 program.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY ON THE MBMISSION WEBSITE! You will NOT need to apply through the MBMission website if accepted for our team. We will do that for you. Note that any applicants who register through MB Mission will not qualify for our team. If you have any questions about this, please contact Chandra (
