Leadership Team

This group of women faithfully volunteer to make our Morning Out for Moms program run smoothly and successfully. If you have any concerns or questions about anything at MOMs, please feel free to contact any of us. You can email by clicking the name of the person to whom you are sending it to.

Luanne Wiens – Program Coordinator; Registrar

I am blessed to be the mom of Sofia (9), Owen (7) & Beth (5). I have been married to Kevin for 14 years and I enjoy supporting his role as a pastor at FGCC. I enjoy camping, travelling, reading (when I have the chance!), and eating at unique restaurants.

The MOMs program has been a blessing to me the past nine years. I enjoy the morning to relax and connect with other moms and to be challenged and encouraged in my role as mom. This year I am continuing on the leadership team as registrar and helping out where needed. Looking forward to another great semester!

Sue Enns – Program Coordinator; Communications

I have been married to Chris for 18 years and we have been blessed with 3 kids, Damien (10), Mason (7), and Lucy (5). In my spare time I like to go out with friends, be slightly crafty, bake, and sew. This is my 7th year on the MOMs leadership team, and I’ll be filling the roles of treasurer, communications, and whatever other planning & details need to get done. I’m honoured to continue to serve in this important ministry, and love seeing new moms come find refreshment and a refocusing in their lives.

Kristie Epp – MC; Semester Planning

I have been married to my husband Mark for 9 years and we have 3 wonderful children Samuel (6) and Grace (3.5) and Henry (1.5). We moved to Saskatoon 2.5 years ago and I started attending MOMs right away. It has been such a blessing to me! We had no friends or family here, and MOMs was such a great way to connect with other moms, the church and establish some great friendships. I have had so much fun being the MC for the last 2 years.

I love spending time outside (when it isn’t freezing out), spending time with the people, working out and reading in my spare time.

Laurie Pauls – Table Leader Coordinator

This fall Josh and I will be celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary. We have two energetic and spirited daughters: Kaylin is 6 and Raya is 4. We enjoy being outdoors, visiting the farm (Josh’s parents’), and spending time with friends and family. When I get some “Me” time, it is usually spent reading or connecting with friends.

We moved to Saskatoon two years ago and have been so blessed by Forest Grove Community Church and this MOMs program for the last 5 semesters. It’s an honour to serve on the leadership team this year. I am leading as table leader coordinator this semester and helping with semester planning. I am looking forward to another great semester at MOMs and serving on this team!

Janette Willms – Childcare Coordinator

I am a mother of two delightful girls Maia (3) and Hannah (1). My husband is Andrew Willms and we have been married for almost 9 years. As a family we love doing anything outside – walking, biking in the summer, trudging through the snow in the winter, and especially hiking in the mountains (my favourite!) when we are visiting my family in Calgary. As for myself I enjoy learning anything crafty, tackling house projects, working in the yard in the summer, singing, dancing around with my daughters, shopping, watching movies and hanging out with extended family.

This will be my fourth year attending MOMs group, and second year on the leadership team as Childcare Coordinater. Within this role I look forward to getting to know some of the people who pour their love into our children every week. I am especially excited for another semester of friendship building, and growing in the knowledge and wisdom brought to us by our amazing speakers and by other moms!
Lydia Deobald – Volunteer Appreciation

I have been married to Ray for 8 years & we have two daughters, Skye (6yrs) & Kenzie (4yrs). As a family we love to travel, drink coffee, be at the beach (preferably the ocean!!), and do some low-key activity together. I really enjoy going for a good long walk, going for coffee, cooking, and finding fun ways to stay fit & healthy.

My family & I moved back to Saskatoon 2 years ago & I have attended the MOMs program ever since. I love the relaxed environment where we can come & be refreshed each week & learn such valuable lessons from our speakers and each other. I am looking forward to helping out wherever I am needed at MOMs this semester 🙂
