Applications are out!!
FGCC has been sending teams to Panama to work alongside of MB missionaries Einer and Girlesa Zuluaga since 2004. This long term partnership has been a mutual blessing to our church as well as the Wounaan churches in Panama. We will be sending another team this summer to visit a Wounaan Indigenous community. We invite you to pray and consider applying for this team and building into our partnership with the Fosters, Zuluaga’s and Wounaan communities in Panama. Applications due Wed Feb 24.
Who can apply: If you are 16 or older, a regular worshipper at FGCC, are ready for some adventure and are willing to serve in whatever way is needed you can apply! We value intergenerational teams and encourage family members to consider serving together. Application deadline Feb 24
Important Dates: We value team building and preparation before we send out a team – there will be meetings at least once a month from March to June. The team will also do a short orientation alongside other MB mission teams in Gretna, Manitoba July 3-6, ministry assignment in Panama July 7-21. Debrief in Saskatoon later in summer. Please check application form for other specific dates. If you have questions please contact Pastor Maryanne.
Ministry Assignment: This years team has been asked to potentially visit a new Wounaan community to bring encouragement through kids and youth activities, teaching, music, sharing the word, prayer and the ministry of presence! The missionaries would accompany the team for their entire time in Panama.
Cost: Each participant must contribute $500 min. personally and will be required to raise support as a team for the remainder of the funds.

Caleb Crider is a missiologist, writer, and teacher. He’s married to Lindsey, and has two children: Jonas (10) and Meredith (8).
Originally from California, Caleb served as a church planting missionary with IMB for 7 years in Spain. They then returned to the United States to found The Upstream Collective, a network of churches committed to thinking and acting like missionaries at home and abroad. He is one of the authors of Tradecraft: For The Church On Mission. He is now IMB’s Director of Church Training, where he teaches and develops curriculum for church-based missions education.
Lindsey and Caleb are part of Movement Church in Richmond, VA.
Caleb will be speaking at our Sat evening Jan 24th at 7 pm event for both Broadway and Attridge Sites on how to live missionally in Saskatoon contextualizing the message of Good News to those He sends us to. He will also share at Attridge Lifetime on Sun. Jan 25th at 9:30 am and the Worship Service at 10:30 am.

Special guest speaker Caleb Crider, co-author of Tradecraft:For the Church on Mission.
Caleb was a missionary in Spain for 7 years, then came back to Portland Oregon to begin the Upstream Collective. Caleb and his family currently lives in Richmond, Virginia, where he is Director of Church Training for International Mission Board. He works as a communications specialist for non-profit organizations and helps churches develop sustainable, church-centric missions strategies.
Caleb will be speaking at our special combined event for the Broadway Gathering and Attridge on Sat Jan 24th at 7 pm, and at Attridge Worship service at 10:30 am Jan 25th.
