Scriptural Blessings to Pray Over Our Children

Deuteronomy 6:6-7

These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

This may seem overwhelming to us as parents, but if you think of all the times in the day that you can impress the things of God on their hearts, it will become a natural part of what you do.  Think of it in terms of this chart below and ask yourself how can I bring God into this part of our day.

GroveKids Primary Age 2-5

We are so thankful to be able to offer small groups to our youngest children from Age 2-5.  We have been blessed with committed leaders that serve faithfully in these classes and that makes this possible.

Each Sunday your child will hear a Bible story and grow in their understanding of how God made them, loves them, and wants a relationship with them.

To go along with lesson, the children make a craft to remind them of what they learned about God.  Please ask your child about their craft and they will be excited to tell you the Bible story that it shares.

GroveKids Elementary

Grade 1-4

Check the GroveKids Newsletter for this month to see specifics of what we are learning this month and ask you child what they learned about God’s rescue plan in large group this week.  We are journeying  through What’s in the Bible and each Sunday morning, we are reminded that God had a plan – a rescue plan for us because He loves us so much.

Grade 5 & 6

Please check the  GroveKids Newsletter to see what we are learning in our Grade 5 & 6 small group this month.  Ask your child if they have any questions about following Jesus or about who He is and what He has done for us.  There are some good suggestions for discussion in the newsletter.

Our Grade 6 students also have the opportunity to be a part of our S.I.T program. (Servers in Training)  They will have an opportunity to serve in several areas of the church and then debrief with their small group leaders as to how it went and where they feel they may be able to serve in the body.  In order to be a part of the SIT program, you need to be a part of the Grade 5 & 6 small group.
